Another successful beach Cleanup yesterday thanks to my mom and the SAF Brooklyn Cleanup Crew!! 19kgs of litter off our beach!!
You can tell the beach goers have been enjoying the beaches again with this beautiful weather… WHY? Because of the staggering amount of straws picked up yesterday!! Unbelievable! Haven’t been this many in a long time and honestly I was naively thinking we’ve won the battle against plastic straws. 
Why are they still being sold???
Another BIG problem we seeing more and more is broken glass on the beach!! Staggering amount found yesterday! Dangerously sharp pieces hidden in the sand begging to cut someone’s foot!!
And of course masks… Masks masks and more masks!!!
