What a great beach cleanup this morning in Sea Point with volunteers from The Oaks, GANGSTAR CAFE SA and a couple of members of the public!
We picked up 24 kilograms of litter from the small stretch of beach to the right of the pools. Take away containers, loads of broken tin cans, a syringe, plastic pieces, netting and fishing line, bottle tops and straws and just all sorts of things that simply shouldn’t be washing up or thrown away on our beaches!
Was a lovely morning out and was nice to be out this side of the world for a change
