Thanks to everyone who came out today to help us contribute to the 1 Ton 1 Day Beach Cleanup challenge!! Together we picked up 241kg! Thanks to Edgemead High School and the SAF Brooklyn Cleanup Crew for their hard work today as well as our other volunteers!! Much much appreciated!!
Thanks to Joanna from Charity Locals Helping Locals For Sassa Pensioners we were once again able to give our kids yummy polony sandwiches. SAF donated the bread, mayo, juice and Spookie chips for all the kids. And thank you to Greg from Cape Town Beach Cleanup who dropped off water from Consol Glass for our volunteers.
It was a good day.
